NEW AWARD PROGRAM - SHARKS SHOW UP:
Sharks Show-Up Award Guidelines: The Sharks Show-Up Award recognizes athletes who demonstrate exceptional commitment and dedication through consistent attendance at practice.
Award Groups
- The award is presented monthly to one athlete from each of the following groups:
• Senior (based on 8 practices per week)
• Platinum (based on 6 practices per week)
• Silver (based on 6 practices per week)
• Flex (based on 5 practices per week)
• Blue (based on 3 practices per week)
• White (based on 4 practices per week)
Eligibility Requirements-
- to be eligible for the Sharks Show-Up Award, an athlete must:
• Achieve the highest attendance percentage among all athletes in their group for the calendar month
• Attendance is calculated based on total practices offered for that specific group during the month
• All scheduled practices for the group count toward the attendance calculation
- Co-Winners -In the event of a tie for best attendance, all tied athletes will be declared co-winners and will each receive the full award.
Award Recognition
- Monthly winners receive:
• Personalized certificate recognizing their achievement
• Makos pin
• One entry into the annual raffle drawing
Annual Raffle
• All monthly Sharks Show-Up Award winners throughout the season receive one raffle entry
• Athletes who win the award multiple times during the season receive one entry per win
• The raffle drawing takes place at the Makos annual party in September
• The raffle prize is a fantastic surprise revealed at the party
Award Presentation

HOLIDAY PRACTICE SCHEDULES CONTINUE UNTIL JANUARY 5TH:
UPCOMING ACCOUNT CHARGES:
- Family volunteer commitment fee:
- $100 - charged in January 2026.
- Fee will be refunded as an account credit for July 2026 for those families that volunteer for 3 sessions at the Makos Summer Splash June 5-7,2026.
- New families beginning after January 2026 will be assessed this fee for their 2nd month of participation.

HOLIDAY PRACTICE SCHEDULES BEGIN MON, DEC 22ND:
UPCOMING ACCOUNT CHARGES:
- Family volunteer commitment fee:
- $100 - charged in January 2026.
- Fee will be refunded as an account credit for July 2026 for those families that volunteer for 3 sessions at the Makos Summer Splash June 5-7,2026.
- New families beginning after January 2026 will be assessed this fee for their 2nd month of participation.
