No Changes this week!

2ND ANNUAL SWIM THE SANTA FE FUNDRAISER

TOTAL RAISED = $10,180 - We will continue to take donations through the end of May!

A HUGE THANK YOU to the swimmers and parents that came out on Saturday!!

Though we got stormed out with 35 minutes to go our team total mileage was 107.19 miles swam!!

Next year we hope to get that 150 plus goal!!

Our top distance per group swimmers:

Blue Sharks - Esmee M. = 86 (2,150 yards, 1.22 miles)

White Sharks - Teagan R. = 132 (3,300 yards, 1.87 miles)

Silver Sharks - Xavier S. = 180 (4,500 yards, 2.55 miles)

Platinum Sharks - Isla L. = 246 (6,150 yards, 3.49 miles)

Senior Sharks - Hayden K. = 246 (6,150 yards, 3.49 miles)

NEW AWARD PROGRAM - SHARKS SHOW UP:

Sharks Show-Up Award Guidelines: The Sharks Show-Up Award recognizes athletes who demonstrate exceptional commitment and dedication through consistent attendance at practice.

Award Groups

• The award is presented monthly to one athlete from each of the following groups:

• Senior (based on 8 practices per week)

• Platinum (based on 6 practices per week)

• Silver (based on 6 practices per week)

• Flex (based on 5 practices per week)

• Blue (based on 3 practices per week)

• White (based on 4 practices per week)

Eligibility Requirements-

• to be eligible for the Sharks Show-Up Award, an athlete must:

• Achieve the highest attendance percentage among all athletes in their group for the calendar month

• Attendance is calculated based on total practices offered for that specific group during the month

• All scheduled practices for the group count toward the attendance calculation

• Co-Winners -In the event of a tie for best attendance, all tied athletes will be declared co-winners and will each receive the full award.

Award Recognition

• Monthly winners receive:

• Personalized certificate recognizing their achievement

• Makos pin

• One entry into the annual raffle drawing

Annual Raffle

• All monthly Sharks Show-Up Award winners throughout the season receive one raffle entry
